For hosts who only have an Airbnb or Vrbo listing

Stop sending guests to a page full of other places to stay. Send them to yours.

A microsite is a small website of your own, built around one rental or a few under one name. It gives you a link worth sharing, a way to take inquiries and a place for Google and ChatGPT to find you. It is ready to grow when you are.

What you get

Small on purpose.

Everything a guest needs to understand your place and reach you, without the cost of a full build. $750 to build, $25 a month for hosting and care.

  • Two pages, plus privacy

A home page with everything about the stay, and an area page about what is nearby. A short privacy page covers the inquiry form.

  • Up to 4 units, one brand

One rental, or a few under one name, like two cabins and two Airstreams. Each unit gets its own section with photos, beds and highlights.

  • Your own domain

Registered in your name, not mine. If we ever part ways, the address stays with you.

  • An inquiry form

Dates, guests and a message, sent straight to your email and phone. Your number is on the page too.

  • A backup Airbnb button

Guests who would rather book on Airbnb or Vrbo still can, so nobody is turned away.

  • Set up to be found

Fast on a phone, connected to Google Search Console, lodging schema markup and a share image for texts and social posts.

Option 1

Showcase

A home base you can share anywhere. Guests read about your place, then inquire or book through your Airbnb or Vrbo listing. When you add booking software later, the site is ready for it.

Option 2

Inquire and book direct

A guest sends their dates. You check your calendar, reply with a secure card payment link and your rental agreement, then block the dates on Airbnb. It's hands-on, and it works well for one or two homes.

What you provide

  • Your photos
  • The details of each unit: beds, baths, amenities
  • House rules, cancellation and how payment works
  • What you want guests to know about you and the area

I put it together and give it a light edit for clarity. Want the descriptions written for you? That's brand voice and room positioning.

What $25 a month covers

From the front desk

Your Airbnb link sends people shopping.

Every time your listing link gets shared, by you with a neighbor whose family is coming to town, or by a happy guest posting their trip, it sends people into a marketplace built to show them other places to stay. It's like sending a customer to Amazon to buy your shoes. They find your pair, and right below it are a dozen others like it. On your own website, yours is the only place to stay on the page.

Questions owners ask

Fair questions

Can guests book on a microsite?

Two ways. As a showcase, guests read about your place and book through your Airbnb or Vrbo listing. Or guests send an inquiry, and you reply with a secure card payment link and your rental agreement, then block the dates on Airbnb. I recommend a card payment link over apps like Venmo, because it is what guests trust.

Is it against Airbnb’s rules?

Having your own website isn't. Airbnb's rules say you can't put outside links in your listing or messages, take payment outside Airbnb for an Airbnb booking, or ask Airbnb guests to rebook off the platform. So share your site in your own channels, not through Airbnb, and keep Airbnb bookings on Airbnb.

I already have booking software. Can I use a microsite?

Yes, but connecting a booking engine is quoted separately, above the microsite price. At that point a full direct booking website is usually the better value, because it is built around that booking engine from the start.

What if I have more than 4 units?

The microsite covers one brand with up to 4 units, or for a small inn, the brand plus up to 4 rooms or room types. Bigger properties and property managers need room to grow, and that's the full direct booking website.

Do I have to write everything myself?

You provide the photos and details, and tell me what you want said. I put it together and give it a light edit. If you want the words written for you, that is brand voice and room positioning.

How many changes do I get?

You get a first draft, then up to two rounds of changes. Changes after launch are covered by the monthly plan, up to 30 minutes a month.

What does the $25 a month cover?

Hosting, a monthly check that your inquiry form works, security and domain renewal reminders, and up to 30 minutes of small edits. It does not include reports, speed audits or booking tests. Those come with the care plan.

Will a microsite get me bookings?

It gives you a page of your own to share and a way for guests to reach you directly. How many bookings it brings depends on how often it gets shared and how you follow up. I won't promise a number, and nobody honestly can.

What does it cost?

$750 to build, plus $25 a month for hosting and care, including up to 30 minutes of small edits each month. If you upgrade to a full direct booking website within 12 months, the $750 counts toward it.

Send me your listing. I’ll show you what your microsite could be.

Free, honest, and from me, not a bot. No sales sequence afterward.
