For owners whose website was built inside their booking software

Your booking software built your website. Now it owns it.

A lot of reservation systems include a website builder. It's handy until you want to change something real, or change software. Then the site, and sometimes your domain, stays behind with them.

Check the ones you know for sure. Anything you check is yours to take with you. Anything you leave blank is worth sorting out before you move.

Your software company holds most of the keys. Let's make a plan to get them back.

Not sure counts as no. Most owners find at least one surprise here.

From the front desk

Comal Inn never picked its booking software.

Our reservation system has changed twice through acquisitions, and we didn't choose either one. Because the website lives on our own domain, I could later move the whole site to a modern platform myself, with redirects, analytics and schema carried over.

How it works

What I'd do for you

  1. 01

    Find out what you own

Domain, DNS, Google Business Profile, analytics, email. I list who controls each one and help you get the keys back before anything moves.

Domain registrar · DNS · Content export

  2. 02

Build the new site, keep your booking engine

A fast site on your own domain, connected to the booking software you already use. Every old page address points to its new home so Google keeps your rankings.

Booking engine connection · 301 redirects · Schema markup

  3. 03

Switch over on a quiet day

I flip your domain to the new site, run test bookings, and tell Google about the change. Your guests just see a better website.

Questions owners ask

Fair questions

Do I have to change booking software?

No. Most booking engines work with an outside website, either as a widget inside it or as a secure booking page it links to. Which one depends on your software. You keep your rates, calendar and payments right where they are.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

Not if the move is done carefully. Every old page gets redirected to its new address, and I submit the new sitemap to Google. A little movement for a few weeks is normal.

Can I keep my web address?

Yes, if it's registered to you. If your software company registered it, step one is getting it transferred into your name. I'll walk you through it.

What does it cost?

Websites start at $2,500, and the move is part of the build. Every project gets a written quote first.

Send me your site. I'll show you what I see.

Free, honest, and from me, not a bot. No sales sequence afterward.
