The Flybook: Book Now buttons for stays, trips and bundles

The Flybook gives you Book Now button code to put on your own website. A button can open one offering, a whole category or your full list. On the sites I’ve seen, booking opens on top of the page, so guests never leave it. It handles lodging stays along with trips, tours and rentals, so a guest can book a cabin and a float in one go.

From a guestOn our Buffalo River trip, Buffalo Outdoor Center’s Book Now button opened The Flybook’s booking in a window on top of its own page, and Rio Buffalo Outfitter’s Reserve Now link opened its full Flybook list.

Who The Flybook is for

The Flybook is built for outfitters and guides: rafting, guided tours, adventure parks, cycling, backcountry, winter sports and eco tours, plus lodging and dude ranches.

Ways to connect it to your website

  1. 01

Book Now buttons on your own pages

You make button code in The Flybook’s Web Integration setup and paste it on your site. You pick what each button opens: one offering, the list view or a category like packages. You can change the button’s color and label.

  2. 02

    A short booking link

The “Use URL” option gives you a short link to the same booking, for emails, social posts or anywhere a button won’t fit.

  3. 03

    Lodging and activities together

Packages combine lodging and activities, with one package per length of stay. Bundles go further, letting guests pick from several stay lengths and activity options in one setup, with optional discounts. Bundles need The Flybook’s new storefront settings.

Where guests actually book

The Flybook calls these booking iframes. On the sites I’ve seen, they open on top of the owner’s own page. That keeps guests on your site, but the booking itself isn’t content Google reads as yours. Your pages about your cabins, trips and the river are still what rank.

The Flybook’s API and payments

API. The Flybook doesn’t publish public API docs. Its help center does document Google Tag Manager tracking for the booking iframes.

Payments. Apple Pay and Google Pay work at online checkout for operators who process payments through Fullsteam, once The Flybook turns it on.

Channels it connects to

The Flybook lists connections to tour and activity sites.

Tours and activities
  • Viator
  • TripAdvisor
  • GetYourGuide
  • Rezdy

The Flybook’s help center says its OTA connections are for activities and tickets, with TripAdvisor and Viator connected directly and others through Rezdy. Its integrations page also lists Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia and Booking.com under lodging platforms, without details on how those connect. Ask The Flybook what works for your lodging today.

What I’d do

Give each cabin, trip and package its own page with photos, details and what’s nearby, and put a Book Now button on each one set to open just that offering. If you sell a stay and a trip together, a bundle button on your lodging page is the easiest way to book both at once.

Either way, your own pages are what Google and AI tools read and recommend, so that's where the work pays off. I build direct booking websites around the booking software you already have, and I can move a site out of your booking software, redirecting every old page so your rankings carry over.

Questions

Can a Flybook button open just one cabin or trip?

Yes. Each button can open one offering, a category such as packages, or your full list.

Can guests book lodging and a trip together on The Flybook?

Yes. Packages combine lodging and activities, one per length of stay. Bundles let guests choose the stay length and activities in one setup.

Does The Flybook connect to Airbnb?

The Flybook lists Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia and Booking.com on its integrations page, but its help center describes OTA connections for activities and tickets. Ask The Flybook what works for lodging today.
