Uplisting: a search widget, prefilled links or the API
Uplisting gives you a few ways to connect a website you build yourself. You can add its search widget to your pages, link Book Now buttons to your Uplisting booking site with dates and guests filled in, or build a custom site on its API. Guests finish booking and pay on the Uplisting booking site, which can run on your own domain.

Who Uplisting is for
Uplisting says it’s built for short-term and holiday rental hosts and property managers, from solo hosts with a few properties to established management companies.
Ways to connect it to your website
- 01
Book Now links
Link buttons on your own pages to your Uplisting booking site. This works on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and any other site.
- 02
The direct booking widget
A date and guest search you add with a short script. Guests search on your page, then finish on your Uplisting booking site.
- 03
A custom build on the API
For a fully custom site. Uplisting’s API is free with an active subscription, and it issues the credentials on request.
Where guests actually book
Guests book and pay on your Uplisting booking site. On the Plus website plan it can run on your own domain or a subdomain like book.yourdomain.com, set up with a CNAME record.
Sending a search from your site
Uplisting documents check_in and check_out (YYYY-MM-DD), number_of_guests, and min_price and max_price, on a search page or a single listing page.

API. Free with an active subscription. Uplisting issues OAuth credentials on request, with read and write access to properties, bookings, calendars and messaging.
Payments. Stripe, connected to your account.
Channels it connects to
Uplisting lists connections to big travel sites, vacation rental sites and Google.
- Big travel sites
Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo connect by API. Expedia and Tripadvisor connect by iCal. Google Vacation Rentals sends guests to your Uplisting booking site, not your own website.
What I’d do
Put the booking site on book.yourdomain.com, and give every property its own page on your main site with a Book Now button that carries the dates through. The search widget is handy on the homepage, but your property pages are what Google and AI tools read.
Either way, your own pages are what Google and AI tools read and recommend, so that's where the work pays off. I build direct booking websites around the booking software you already have, and I can move a site out of your booking software, redirecting every old page so your rankings carry over.
Questions
Is there an Uplisting WordPress plugin?
Uplisting doesn’t list one. Its help center shows how to add Book Now links on WordPress, Wix and Squarespace.
Can my Uplisting booking site use my own domain?
Yes, on the Plus website plan, with a CNAME record for a domain or subdomain.
Can I send dates to Uplisting from a link?
Yes. Add check_in, check_out and number_of_guests to a search or listing link.
