Lodgify: a Search Box and Booking box for your own pages
Lodgify offers a Search Box and a Booking box you add to your own pages, and both send guests to your Lodgify booking pages. Those pages can run on your own domain or a subdomain like booking.yourdomain.com, though checkout itself always happens on Lodgify’s secure checkout.

Who Lodgify is for
Lodgify says it’s built for independent hosts, property managers and agencies, whether they manage one property or 30 and more.
Ways to connect it to your website
- 01
The Search Box (Lodgify’s pick)
A JavaScript widget, not an iframe. Guests pick dates and land on your Lodgify properties page, or go straight to checkout if you have one rental.
- 02
The Booking box
A booking widget for a single rental’s page on your site.
- 03
The Public API
For a fully custom site. Any Lodgify account can create a key, and Lodgify’s docs list availability, nightly rates, quotes, bookings and webhooks.
Where guests actually book
Your Lodgify booking pages can use your own domain, set up with a few DNS records and a free security certificate. Lodgify also supports pointing a subdomain like booking.yourdomain.com at it, so your own site and your booking pages share a name. Checkout always runs on checkout.lodgify.com.
Lodgify’s API and payments
API. Lodgify’s Public API uses a key you copy from Settings. It’s read and write, covering availability, rates, quotes, bookings and webhooks.
Payments. Lodgify Payments, Stripe or PayPal.
Channels it connects to
Lodgify lists connections to big travel sites, vacation rental sites, outdoor and camping sites and Google.
- Big travel sites
- Outdoor and camping
Lodgify connects to Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com by API, and lists Expedia as API too. Google Vacation Rentals needs an active Lodgify website and the Professional or Ultimate plan. Hipcamp isn’t listed.
What I’d do
Point a subdomain like booking.yourdomain.com at Lodgify and add the Search Box to your own homepage and property pages. Guests stay under your name until checkout, and your own pages do the work with Google.
Either way, your own pages are what Google and AI tools read and recommend, so that's where the work pays off. I build direct booking websites around the booking software you already have, and I can move a site out of your booking software, redirecting every old page so your rankings carry over.
Questions
Can Lodgify use my own domain?
Yes. Lodgify supports your own domain, or a subdomain like booking.yourdomain.com, set up with DNS records. Checkout still runs on checkout.lodgify.com.
Is there a Lodgify WordPress plugin?
There’s one on WordPress.org, but it isn’t clearly from Lodgify and hasn’t been updated in about two years. The Search Box code works on WordPress pages.
Does Lodgify connect to Google Vacation Rentals?
Yes, on the Professional and Ultimate plans with an active Lodgify website.
